This Sparkling Whiskey Apple Cider is the perfect fall cocktail! It’s light, fizzy with a pop of whiskey and apple cider!
All the fall things in one cocktail! I love this drink because it is so easy to make with zero prep time but tastes just like fall in a glass! It’s sparkling and served over ice which makes it perfect for those warm afternoons that fade into cool evenings. This cocktail is well balanced and not too boozy but perfecting for sipping. It’s easy to make in a big batch too!

Sparkling Whiskey Apple Cider
Ahhh fall calls for all the apple cider! I love this version because it is so easy to make and it’s refreshing for those warm fall afternoons we get here in Austin. It’s light enough to have two but also satisfying enough if you just one want cocktail.
I highly suggest using an organic unfiltered apple cider for this drink. Our local grocery store always carries one this time of year that is perfect. Unfiltered cider will be cloudy and you’ll need to give it a good shake before using. If you’re not using organic unfiltered apple cider then you are basically using apple juice which would be too sweet for this drink in my opinion.
I like to use a dry prosecco for the bubbles but feel free to use whatever you have on hand. Don’t skip the Angostura bitters. They really help balance this drink and add a nice fall spice flavor.
If you want to make a big batch of this cocktail, just adjust the serving amount below and the recipe will automatically update! If you use this feature, let me know what you think! If you want to make this ahead of time, you can mix everything together beside the prosecco. Wait until just before serving to add those so that the bubbles don’t die out. Enjoy!

I tried it out and absolutely loved this. This is such a great one, I hope this works with applewood bourbon too.

So happy you enjoyed it as much as we do! Yes, I think bourbon would work well in this recipe.
