This Ginger Pomegranate Fizz is a delicious take on a Moscow Mule that is fun and festive with pomegranate and fresh rosemary!
Cheers to a fresh and festive cocktail! What I love about this pomegranate-based drink is that it’s so crisp and refreshing and pairs well with almost anything. This take a on a Moscow Mule has a herbal nose from some fresh rosemary and a bit of bite from punchy ginger beer. It’s made with Doers Vodka, which is a local, small batch vodka made here in Austin. The best thing about this cocktail is that there is nothing to prep! Just muddle a few ingredients together and serve!

Ginger Pomegranate Fizz
Crisp, refreshing and perfect any time of year! That is what best describes this drink. I kinda forgot how much I love Moscow Mules. This drink is a take on a Moscow Mule with it’s vodka and ginger beer base but I added some pomegranate for color and sweetness and fresh rosemary for herbal element. Honey and lemon juice balance things out for a very easy drinking cocktail!
I chose Doers Vodka for this cocktail because it is a smooth vodka. I also love that is locally made here in Austin from a women-owned business. Doers is made with corn, or maize, so it is naturally gluten-free. It has a clean finish that lends itself well to make delicious cocktails with!
The honey and lemon combination has a nice balancing effect on the drink. If you only have lime, that would work in the place of the lemon. Orange would make the drink much sweeter so I would avoid using that. The ginger beer you use will definitely make or break your drink. I suggest using Fever Tree Ginger Beer.
Easy Vodka Cocktail
Y’all know I love a good cocktail from the comfort of my own home! This drink is particularly easy to make! You can definitely make a batch of this cocktail if you’re hoping to serve to a small group of guests. It’s also easy to make just one drink too.
I like to use fresh pomegranate arils, you might know them better as seeds, in this drink. However, if you can only find pomegranate juice, then I suggest using only one tablespoon of the juice in place of the two tablespoons of arils.
The instructions call for rubbing the rosemary inside of the glass. Don’t skip this steps! Rosemary is very aromatic and by whisking the inside of the glass with the rosemary sprig, you will release some of the essential oils into the glass adding a very subtle herbal note that will infuse the drink. Garnishing the drink with the rosemary sprig will also add a little nose, or something you smell each time you take a sip, to the drink.
I can’t wait to hear how much y’all enjoy this cocktail!
