Spring has officially hit Austin and we couldn’t be more excited! BMW and I have made a commitment that we are going to try and squeeze as much use out of our patio as we can before the heat hits. That means dinner al fresco and happy hours at the picnic table with Mimi and friends! Last summer we threw a big Rosé All Day party and ever since are always on the hunt for refreshing crisp rosés that we can enjoy no matter the occasion. I always have big ideas of entertaining for huge groups but we also love to just throw together a quick happy hour at home. Especially so all the pups can join!
Entertaining doesn’t have to be so ornate or complicated! I am all about enjoying your time with loved ones and friends and not stressing too much. I picked up these bright pink roses at the store on sale for only $10 and they added so much to this table. I threw down one of our colorful blankets to add a pop to the table and chilled the Decoy Rosé in our ice bucket I picked up while we were in Argentina last year but you can chill it in the fridge or ice it down in a pretty serving bowl. I picked up these colorful coasters at TJ Maxx. So basically, what I am trying to say is entertaining can be really simple and just use things you already have and pick up the rest in one easy trip to the store.
Let’s review the easy steps for entertaining Rosé All Day style:
- Pick up a bottle of Decoy Rosé and chill it in an ice bucket or fridge
- Grab some colorful flowers while you are out that day
- Throw down a fun blanket
- Grab your pup and friends and enjoy
It’s that simple! Grab some sweet and salty snacks like marcona almonds, grapes and maybe a little hummus and veggies if you want to have a snack.
Decoy Rosé is dry, crispy rosé made with grapes specifically harvested for rosé wine. I love how easy it is to drink and pairs well snacks and meals alike. It’s great for those warm spring evenings and hot summer days! Decoy wine is like having Sonoma County in your glass! It’s making us so excited for our upcoming trip to Sonoma next weekend to visit some of our dear friends!
