Fit Fridays is back just in time for summer y’all! If you’re feeling the need to move a little bit more, stretch a little bit deeper and keep the good vibes flowin’, I’ll be posting some of my favorite spots to get your sweat on! This month I’m bringing you a favorite class of mine, the hammock class from DEFINE Body & Mind. I mean after seeing the photos I couldn’t help but want to try it!
The hammock class at DEFINE utilizes a hammock to help you stretch deeper. You also can flip upside down (yes, you can do it!) and help reverse all that sitting you did all day. It really helps lengthen your spine and back. I remember as a kid I loved hanging upside down and would find any excuse to do so. I guess there’s really something to it! The class leaves you feeling relaxed but I won’t steer you wrong, it is a little work. The class helps give you a little nudge to try new things and focus on forgotten joints and parts that need a little extra TLC. Be sure to hydrate before you come to class. Grab a friend and try something new this month!
