This is how my post started, ” Wednesday Ramblings”. Wait, hold up, what? Wednesday? Yup, that’s right. I thought it was Wednesday and it’s totally Thursday. What a lucky surprise, it’s usually the other way around for me. All this traveling and sleep deprivation has got me all flustered. And, sigh, I haven’t been cooking, which is usually my solitude.
Since I haven’t been whipping up any delicious recipes for you all, I wanted to share about cocktails at Weatherup . Lovely little place that is housed where Shuck Shack used to be on E. Caesar Chavez. It doesn’t have a sign and looks closed from the outside. Apparently they are going for a speakeasy vibe. Weatherup doesn’t serve food yet, they are still waiting on approval for their kitchen permit. But the drinks are worth it! There is a cute patio and the bar inside is cozy.
The drinks are all craft cocktails that are served up pretty with different kinds of ice. The ice comes anywhere from crushed to large oblong cubes. The staff are friendly, informed and welcome questions.
And best of all, I got to hang out with the girls from Bread and Butter PR. They are fabulously dressed and terribly hysterical. Great company! Thanks for the drink ladies, let’s do it again soon!
Stop by Weatherup and let me know what you think!
