Besides whipping up a little of this, I spent my weekend soaking up all of the F1 race hoopla in Austin this weekend.
Thanks to a lucky turn of events and few good friends, I got to attend the VIP F1 party at Swift’s Attic. The drinks were flowing, it was packed and there was a DJ. Then I walked around FanFest for a bit before calling it a night early, so I could wake up and head here!

The weather made for a gorgeous day. I couldn’t believe it, but there was hardly any traffic! I mean seriously, it took me less than 30min to get there and home. Props to COTA and City of Austin for pulling that off so smoothly.

Oh, I did I mention Fletcher’s Corny Dogs was there! What a great surprise since I missed out on my corny dog this year because I was at ACL.
I felt so American eating my corny dog, drinking a beer and looking at the red, white and blue track.

I finished off my weekend by adding something a little extra in this batch of Vegan Pumpkin Bread for someone extra special. Chocolate and pumpkin is a tasty holiday treat!
