Have you heard of Cipollina? I’m sure you have if you’ve been around Austin for a while. It’s a cute little Italian bistro at 6th and Westlynn. It’s not the 1st place I think of for happy hour but once you try it, you’ll be totally hooked! Happy Hour is served daily from 5pm to 6pm at Cipollina.
They have wine by the glass specials but I’d recommend starting off with a bottle. You’ll want to stay a while.
Then the sever will bring out some olive oil and bread.
The charcuterie plate, always a winner in my book! Although pâté is not my favorite, the prosciutto and spicy mustard well make up for it. And with half price small plates during happy hour, its well worth trying!
The cheese plate. Melt my heart. And it comes with pistachios, double love.
Next, I definitely want to try the mussels, octopus and oysters… Oh I’m so craving seafood.
We topped it all off with a deliciously rich prosciutto, gruyere, oregano and white truffle oil pizza. I mean who can say no to truffle oil?
