This was my first year to attend the Austin Food & Wine Festival and it was deeeelicious! I was so excited to get to try all the food from some amazing chefs! We went to Rock Your Taco and The Candy Land after party at The W, which was SO fun btw. It got really hot this weekend but that didn’t keep us from enjoying all the fest had to offer like wine slushies and alllll the cheese from Kerry Gold!
Here is allll the cheese from Kerry Gold! Which is totally my favorite now by the way. There is so much going on at the Austin Food & Wine Festival! I wish we would have made it into the grilling demo with Chef Tim Love, guess I will have to do that next year! There were so many amazing local chefs and some really great ones from out of town too like Chef Tandy Wilson from Nashville who made a mean scrapple taco. It was actually my favorite taco from Rock Your Taco! If you can’t make it to the whole festival, then at least try and get a ticket to Rock Your Taco next year.
I saw so many foodie friends and once I get over this food hangover, I cannot wait to go next year! I will definitely say be sure to work up an appetite in the days leading up to the fest, bring sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Oh and get there early so you can make it to the live grilling demo!
